My Font

When creating my own font I decided to use sport's teams logos with each letter of the alphabet. I like how my project turned out. As a big sports fan I think its cool how teams incorporate letters from their schools into their logos. I like the creativity and eye for design that goes into designing logos that correspond with the team and the letters.

Color Wheel Stencils

For this stencil I used the cut out of an elephant with a cool image I found on the internet with a crazy background looking design to out into the elephant's frame. For the background I used gradient. I like how this piece turned out. I think the colors and designs are really cool.
For this piece I used a photo I took of the sunset here at western during a football practice to make with the stencil of my name. Then for the background I used a rainbow-ish stencil.

Gif

For this project we had to make a gif. I made mine of a frog jumping across the screen. I really enjoyed learning how to do this

Gradient

For this project we had to use a cut out of an image and make something new out of it. I used the cut out of a picture of the sunsetting sky that I took and cut pieces out of it to make my name. I really like my finished result. I also used gradient and made it rainbow colors,

Metropolitan Museum

Jean Norris and Wife Virginia Norris, Homesteaders and Town Founders

Debbie Grossman

I really like this piece because of the simplicity of it. Its just a couple standing together but at the same time it is very powerful. I think the photographer added color to this photo and I believe it used to be black and white because it looks very old to me by the clothing and the colors.

LS #3

Beate Gütschow

I really like this picture because to me its very appealing to look at. I like that it is a picture taken outdoors. I also like that the tree stands alone. I think the artist did this to make it the main focus and add an artist touch. The photographer used photoshop to play with the colors by making the colors a lot softer and not have much contrast.
